Today, the Prime Minister launched the Long Term Plan for the NHS – a historic moment for patients throughout the Gainsborough and across the country.
The publication of the plan follows the announcement last year that the NHS would receive £20.5 billion extra by 2023-24.
The Queen has been pleased to approve that Sir Edward Leigh MP, Philip Dunne MP and Sir Roger Gale MP be sworn of Her Majesty’s most Honourable Privy Council.
Sir Edward Leigh MP has welcomed the Government’s plan for a new single, skills-based immigration system, which marks the end of free movement once and for all.
The system will be built around what people can contribute, rather than where they come from.
Sir Edward Leigh commented:
