Farmers in low-lying areas of Lincolnshire are suffering from flooding, so I told ministers today that any update on the support that they can be given would be very helpful.
My specific question for the Secretary of State was to ask if the Government will update us on when they will announce the long-term funding solution that they promised for internal drainage boards.
This is dearly needed to address the pressure on local authorities. Special levies would help immensely.
We've had a rainy few months and farmers in Lincolnshire have suffered from flooding.
