Sir Edward Defends Scampton on Look North

I went on BBC Look North last night to speak to the inimitable Peter Levy about Scampton.

It has once again become very clear that the Home Office's case for their proposals to house migrants there has collapsed.

I am pressuring ministers and officials to work with our district council to find space elsewhere in West Lindsey where illegal migrants can be housed temporarily

Scampton is on the cusp of a £300-million regeneration deal and we need to roll that out as soon as possible.
