Congratulations to Lincolnshire County Council for turning it down. If the Company appeals I will join with the Council in opposing it.

On-shore oil provides just 2 per cent of our energy needs and causes enormous disruption. It all has to go out by tanker on narrow roads.

We should concentrate on fully developing all our North Sea oil and gas potential.
