As always I enjoyed my trip to the Lincolnshire Show.

It was a pleasure to witness so many of the jewels of Britain's premier food-producing county — the breadbasket of England.

The Lincolnshire Showground is only a mile from RAF Scampton where we want to unleash £300 million of regeneration — if the Home Office will let us get on with the job.
