I am very saddened to hear of the death of a young boy in a road accident at the road junction near Grayingham where the B1398 meets the B1205. I know this crossroads well and I find it terrifying there. It's very hard to see approaching traffic.

I am writing urgently to the highways authorities asking them to upgrade this junction as soon as possible to severely reduce the risk to drivers. We need speed restrictions leading up to it and either a roundabout or a traffic light at the junction itself.

The threat to life and limb is unacceptable and urgent action can prevent unnecessary deaths, accidents, and near-misses.
