Solar panels belong on factories and rooftops, not on our precious farmland.
I've urged ministers yet again to extend the protection that exists for Grade 1, 2, and 3a agricultural land to include Grade 3b land as well.
For wheat and grain it is pretty much the same quality of land, and we need to keep Britain farming rather than build massive solar power projects in open country.
