In questions to the Leader of the House today, I pointed out that the planning application for a solar farm near Gainsborough won't be decided locally by West Lindsey District Council.
Because of a Labour-era law, this application has been designated as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project and will be decided with very little input from our district council and local communities.
Planning decisions, even if of national significance, need to be made locally with the full consultation and consent of local authorities. pic.twitter.com/8a7MEvDv4M
