Today the National Audit Office that investigates waste in government spending released a report on the spiralling costs of housing illegal migrants at ex-military bases.
At PMQs today I managed to managed to question Rishi Sunak over this.
As the Home Office have already announced they will be capping migrant numbers at Scampton to 800, I urged that ministers meet with West Lindsey officials soon to get as much of Scampton released for regeneration.
This is the historic home of the Dambusters Squadron and the Red Arrows. It has a bright future ahead but it needs acting on now.
My question to the Prime Minister today.

The NAO report makes clear that housing illegal migrants at RAF Scampton is not value for money.
We need to reach a compromise and get as much of the site released for regeneration as soon as possible. pic.twitter.com/atbKBkA4q6
