Meeting Considers Options to Save Scampton

Meeting with Sir Edward Leigh MP

Sir Edward Leigh has met with local elected representatives and officials to discuss legal moves to preserve the regeneration deal at RAF Scampton and prevent illegal migrants being housed there.

"This evening I had a very useful planning meeting with Scampton Parish Council, Lincolnshire County Councillor, West Lindsey District Councillor, and officials," Sir Edward said.

"We discussed our legal moves to stop the perverse decision by the Home Office to house illegal migrants at RAF Scampton."
