Gainsborough is one of England’s biggest and most rural constituencies. We need a voice in government for our struggling village shops, post offices and amenities. We need to value the immense contribution made by volunteers and farmers to the countryside. I have relentlessly campaigned for better broadband for our villages.

I will work to make sure farmers are supported after the Brexit process is completed.

The flooding of significant parts of the constituency, the Barlings Eau and Trent rivers, together with surface water flooding across roads, imperilling homes, has reinforced my determination to support the formation of a Lincolnshire Rivers Authority.
